My Husband Slaps Me In The presence of My Daughter

My husband says I am fat and sit at home doing nothing. Today he slapped me on my face in front of my daughter.

I am crying now and my daughter is watching me. I do all the work at home. My husband stays out of town most of the time. Everything is on me, but I am still happy to do everything thinking its my duty. Everyday I expect my husband praising me for everything I do but he never says a word good. As soon as he comes home he starts picking on me saying I wasn't doing anything all day. I feel sad and cries then he scolds me again saying that I cry everyday and he thinks it would be a bad luck for him. No matter what I do to make him happy he always make me cry for silly things.

I need some advice please help me......

Explosion at School Assembly in a Secondary School in Yobe (42 Killed)

An explosion ripped through a school in northeast Nigeria on Monday, as students gathered for morning assembly before classes began, a teacher and a medic told us. The blast happened at the Government Comprehensive Senior Science Secondary School in Potiskum, Yobe state, as students waited to hear the principal’s daily address.

The students had gathered for the morning assembly when something exploded in their midst with a thunderous sound at exactly 7:50 am (0650 GMT),” said one teacher, who asked not to be identified.
The explosion has affected many students but I can’t say how many because we are now evacuating the victims to the hospital which is just 100 metres (yards) away,” the teacher added, sobbing.
A medic at the Potiskum General Hospital where the victims were taken said scores of students had been admitted.
“We are still receiving casualties from the school which is a stone’s throw from here,” the medic said.
Our priority now is to save the injured, so we have not started a headcount of the victims.”
A local resident, Adamu Alkassim, said there was confusion in and around the school but the scene was a mass of abandoned footwear and blood.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack but Boko Haram militants are likely to be the prime suspects.
The group, which wants to create a hardline Islamic state in northern Nigerian, has previously carried out deadly attacks on schools teaching a so-called Western curriculum since 2009.

In February, gunmen killed at least 40 students when they opened fire on students and threw explosives into the dormitory of a government boarding school in Buni Yadi, also in Yobe state.
In July last year 42 students were killed when Boko Haram gunmen attacked dormitories with guns and explosives in a government boarding school in the village of Mamudo, near Potiskum.
Potiskum, the commercial hub of Yobe state, has been repeatedly targeted by deadly attacks blamed on Boko Haram.
Just last week, at least 15 people were killed in a suicide bomb attack targeting a Shia religious ceremony in the city.
Yobe is one of three northeastern states that has been under a state of emergency since May last year to try to quell the bloody insurgency.
But violence has continued unabated and Boko Haram has seized at least two dozen towns and villages in recent months, raising fears of the government’s ability to control the region.

The World’s Tallest and Shortest Men Meet [Photos]

The world's tallest man, Turkey's Sultan Kosen, who stands 2.51 metres (eight feet, nine inches) tall, today came face to face -- well, face to shin -- with the world's shortest man Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Nepal, who measures just 55 centimetres (21 and a half inches).

The little and large act met as people across the globe tried to break all manner of weird and wacky world records, including banging heads, catching spears and throwing thongs.

Kosen, a 31-year-old farmer, stooped down to shake hands with 74-year-old Dangi opposite the Houses of Parliament in London. He told AFP that meeting Chandra was "amazing", although he admitted bending the long, long way down for photographs was difficult.

"I was very interested how tall he was going to be, about how far up my legs he would go, and of course once I saw him I realised how tiny he was. I do have problems with my knees so if I stand too long I do get tired. Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives and when I look into Chandra's eyes I can see he is a good man."

As well as being the tallest man, Kosen's hands are the biggest in the world -- an impressive 28.5 centimetres (11.22 inches) from the wrist to the tip of his middle finger.

Meanwhile Dangi, a primordial dwarf who makes placemats and head straps for villagers carrying heavy loads, is the shortest adult ever certified by Guinness World Records. He told AFP:

"I was very pleased to see the tallest man in the world, I was curious to meet my extreme opposite. I'm so pleased to be a Guinness record holder. Thanks to this I have visited many countries and met many people. I really love it."

The two men met today to celebrate the 10th annual Guinness World Records Day
